Kei calmed quite quickly, and bowed politely, dark hair falling into her face. "Pleased to meet you! I'm Kei, and this doofus is Moki~And yes, Mokikiki, I'm totally gunna run. I'm so sorry, forgive me?" She sniffed dramatically, and hugged her sister. "But I wanted to get some more lumber for a project anyways, and I kind of need some me time anyways, kay?" She kissed her sister on the cheek, hugged her again, and slipped off before her sister could protest, calling her goodbyes over her shoulder. ("Bye Mokikiki! See you around, Kurono-kun!") And just as she left the arcade, her feet stumbled and brought her crashing into a throng of people. Rubbing her head, she peered through the mass of legs surrounding... Aah? People? A fight. She realized suddenly, and bit her lip. Three against one? So totally not fair! She wanted to help, but her courage failed her, and she just sat there, watching in mild horror.

Takamatsu was always one to contradict others words and actions, bending the way people talked to his own will, it was a rather deceptive skill he had learned through time, but usefull nonetheless. As the oldest looking of the group approached, the guy smirked and shook his head as though disappointed he'd have to beat on someone so small and worthless. Taku only smirked sheepishly and gave a slight flick of his unruly shoulder length black hair that he left in a sort of spikish way. "Are you disappointed or just afraid that one of my size could possibly take someone like you down with the ease of squashing an annoying insect...." Another stinging blow that immediately set the kid off. A high strike suddenly came down upon him, but his agility was too impressive to be caught by such a simple attack, shoving forward right into him, his hands flashing in a flurry of movements before giving one quick final open palmed strike. The guy stumbled back a few feet before keeling over while holding his gut, he suddenly spurting up a small spray of blood onto the cement below. "....."

[[Oops! Would have posted in the morning, but I overslept like a mofo This post is icky though. I don't like it. It can DIE.]] Rising to her feet, Kei's eyes locked on the scene, hands shaking. How...how could they do that...? Was that blood? Something in her snapped. Kei, ever cheerful Kei, vapid, shallow, ditzy, rose-coloured glasses Kei, wanted to scream. This wasn't right, he was seriously hurting them, this... She had never understood pain. Kei could never fight others, found herself empathizing with people too much to wish harm on them. "Stop it!" Her voice, delirious, shrieked through the air, and she had pushed her way through the crowd without thinking, panic written on her plain features. "What the hell is wrong with you?!" Pulling a small handkerchief from her purse, her gentle hands reached out to clean the blood from around the boys mouth, eyes fixing an indignant glare upon Takamatsu. Oh how she loathed violence.

(Sorry again for taking so long...)
When Kei left them, Kurono found himself trapped in awkwardness yet again. It wasn't until he heard Kei yelling that he snapped out of what had become sort of a trance, and quickly ran outside, to see Kei on the ground with one boy, yelling at another. The one she was angry with had likely just punched the other out, and could be dangerous, so Akira made his way through the crowd and approached them, asking, "What happened here?"

Moki had been in a daze since Kei left her and Kurono alone. She hadn't even heard her scream...Blinking, she noticed that Kurono was gone and a crowd had gathered outside. Hurrying out, pushing through the crowd, to see her younger sister there. She squeaked in surprise "EEP! Kei! Are you okay? What are you doing? What happened?" She spat out questions in such a hurry, they were all slurred together and it was hard to understand what she was saying.

Takamatsu just stood his ground, some of the crowd that had gathered seeming to back away from this young boy of 16. It was clear now that the people watching knew not to judge by what they saw. Pulling himself back up into a narrow stance, one hand held out with his palm facing up and his elbow bent at an angle, the other arm folded neatly behind his back. Seeming to give off a more eerie and satanic like feel, he smirked darkly at the sight of the blood. "I warned you not to mess with me.... But no one ever cares to listen to someone like me...." The other two boys who were with the older guy couldnt take it anymore and suddenly rushed past their 'boss' together. But Taku just stood his ground, unwavering confidence echoing from him. As soon as they were close enough, he shifted his weight to the left, lowering himself at the same time into a quick spin. His leg flashed around in a blur of speed, connecting with the side of one of the boy's knees, a large crack snapping it from its spot. As though he were like fluid, he continued, shoving his weight into his foot to push himself up. The now half falling boy took a severe knee right to his jaw, Taku going up and over this one, turning to face the last. "........."

Kei felt her heart clench in fear. Idiot. She had always been a coward, covering up her weakness with loud words, hiding away from the probing glances of others by turning their questions on them. By caring about them, they found they did not need to worry about her. This act, beautifully executed, hid her cowardice and foolishness. But...no. Not anymore. This wasn't right and she was here now, and there was no point in backing down. Swallowing her fear, she rose to her feet, dropping her handkerchief and running, firmly planting herself between Takamatsu and his target. Her hands shook but her eyes, usually dancing with mirth, were determined. "We get it! We get that you're strong, but you shouldn't be doing this! Just stop! Please, just leave them alone!" She could feel her heart pounding in her chest, and she bit her lip, trying to keep tears from spilling out of her eyes. "Don't hurt them anymore!"

He was never one to strike first, running wrecklessly into a battle like so, he was a calculating fighter, one that studied an opponent before attacking so as to know their weaknesses and strengths. Taku's eyes quickly narrowed as she slid in between them, his head lowering ever so slightly at her words, but he only shook his head and smirked to her. "Why should I stop...." His voice was calm, cool, and collected, a rather disturbing feeling from this confidence seeming to spread to the area. "Because they choose to pick on others smaller, weaker, more pathetic than they are?" He narrowed his gaze even further, his voice dropping as well to a sort of distinct hiss. "No... I will not stop.... I will continue on until I have uprooted all those who have dared to set hands upon those too weak to defend themselves..." His calmness returned before he gave the smirk again. "I have no grudge against you girl... Though, wish to stand in my way... You shall never do so again...." His tone suddenly changed to a more malicious one at that, staring her down. "One chance.... Only one... Move...."

She flinched visibly, but held her ground, still terrified, still determined to see this through. Fidgeting, she tried to find the right words.
"I'm not saying what they did was right...but what you're doing right now is just as wrong." Steeling herself, she forced herself into eye contact, her eyes blazing. "It's plain to see that you're more capable, and just preying on weakness! What kind of a person does that make you?!"
She didn't think she'd be able to appeal to a sense of right and wrong–she was beginning to think that he would skew them to support this, that there wasn't something quite right about it.
But she couldn't just give up and let him hurt them. Even though she knew that they would have done the same...no one deserved to feel pain.
She could feel him staring her down, and she wanted to run, run and never come back. Hands shaking, they grasped the dogtags that hung about her neck, hot fingers tracing the cool metal. She glowered, holding her head high in pride.
"No. I don't care what you say or what you do–I won't let you hurt them anymore."
And for the first time in her life, Kei felt like she was doing something right, like she was finally more than a freeloader on society.
Finally, it felt like there was more to her existence than just being overlooked as 'one of the Yoshikawa daughters'.

(Aww, how sweet Ino-chan <3)
Moki blinked and Kei was gone from in front of her. She turned to see Kei standing between the thugs and the punisher. Standing quickly, she jumped over Kei, flung some small exploding stars in between them, and landed in front of her sister. "Touch her, and you deal with me..." Fear didn't show on her face like it did on Kei's. She was good at hiding her emotions...I just hope those karate lessons help here...He is so much stronger then me...I'm going to get hurt...But he's not hurting Kei, and if Kei doesn't want him to harm the other men, I won't let him... She slid her feet slightly apart as her sensei's voice echoed inside her head.
'You do not backdown...No matter what size or shape your opponent is...You spread your feet about a foot apart, and when he moves to kick or punch you, kick him in the elbow. If he looks away with his arm extended, kick his hand and push him back with an open palm blow to the stomach...'
She reviewed the lessons quietly while she waited for the man in front of her to make up his mind. "I'm protecting the weak...Now I'm giving you a chance to back down...I don't like violence but if you force me to protect my sister, who has probably never harmed a piece of grass, then I will..."

He just stared the two girls down as he slowly slid back up into a normal casual sort of stance, his eyes gleaming through the bitter cold. Quickly reaching up and pushing aside a tuft of his hair, he smirked rather cooly as he began to approach in that same calculating demeanor. "You had that chance.... Such a fickle thing to throw away that which has little if any meaning at all... Life can be cruel in so many ways...." Something inside him had snapped as soon as the first girl had crossed his path, he really was no longer that casual calm and perfect fighter. Her words seemed to spark something in his mind, his eyes holding a continuous malicious hint. He had been righteous before, but now he was on a path of inflicting pain on innocent people. It was no wonder he was kept away from others, having to be moved from school to school. "Now lets just see how this works...." In an instant, his calm walk changed to a sudden jolt of intense power as he flashed forward, no sign of any sort of strike coming as the distance between them closed rapidly.

Kei hated this. She didn't ask for Moki to do this, and she didn't want her to get hurt, but she didn't want to make her sister angry either. She didn't know what to do now, and staring at her sister's back, felt a sudden wave of helplessness. Why? Why was she always ending up like this...? In trouble and being fished out of it by her sister...she couldn't do anything on her own...and when there was really someone in pain, when there was really someone who was in danger...she couldn't do anything. She was so weak...so useless... She tried so hard. She tried to do things right but she always screwed up...no wonder she was always being looked at with those eyes...regretful, disappointed eyes... And all she had wanted to do was to help someone. God, why was she so pathetic?
He was moving and she swore under her breath, breath she couldn't catch because fuck, she couldn't breathe for fear. Asshole. Kei didn't think, only remembered that she had been carrying a chunk of half carved wood around with her the size of a hefty phone. Said piece of wood was then chucked straight at the guy.
Wood that size to the head hurts. And I can't write this anymore. The phallic lulz are too much for me.

He had stopped approaching for a moment, his eyes narrowing as his head lifted to the cold brisk winter air, sirens approaching. Snarling somewhat, he went to return his vision back to the other two, the dull thud of the blunt object ricocheting off his skull more clear than any other sound around. He seemed to be shocked for a moment as the colors danced in front of his eyes, stumbling backwards a few feet to help signify the power of the blow. Though it was quite a hit, he was still standing nonetheless, though utterly stunnedby all means. Grabbing his head to help soothe the pain in some way, he began to give a small hiss, his hand pulling away to reveal a large patch of dark red liquid upon his palm, a thin line running down his arm. "Eh..."

This wasn't supposed to happen. She was supposed to be pulling Moki along and getting the hell out of there and then trying to forget, drown herself in noise and voices– But she hadn't expected the blood. Her eyes widened almost imperceptibly, and what... She realized then what she had done. Filthy hypocrite. That's all you are. You preach nonviolence, and then hurt someone. Hypocrite. Hypocrite. HypocriteHypocriteHypocriteHYPOCRITE– She stumbled, grasping her sister's arm for support, staring at that horrible sickly red colour, hands shaking. Why why why? All she had wanted to do was make him stop, and now he was hurt, and it was her fault, and that bastard, why couldn't he have just been rational?! She tried to blame him. But she had thrown her carving at him. It was her fault.
"I...I'm sorry...! I'm so sorry...! I didn't...I...please forgive me! I wasn't thinking, I didn't...I didn't want to hurt you, I'm sorry!" She stared in horror, trying not to scream, not to cry. Why couldn't she be like Moki or any of her other sisters? Always strong and collected and composed, and they never screwed up like this. She hated herself so much then. She hadn't even known she could feel this poison this strongly.
There were sirens, and she was scared, god she was scared, but...she stumbled forward, timidly, withdrawing a smudged handkerchief from one of her pockets, wordlessly proffering it. God, the guilt. How could people live like this? How could they...delight, in suffering like this?
And Kei, ever sheltered and innocent, knew deep down that this was nothing. This was only a glance at a world she could never survive in, outside of the walls of the Yoshikawa estate. She found it all too horribly beautiful with that sickly crimson that stained this boy.
A beauty far different from the suffocating palace of home.

The blood was clearly visible now as it ran down the side of his face, leaving a thick red line of the liquid across his cheek and down to his chin. His hair, now holding a red tint to it off to the side, swayed dangerously with his motions as he stared at the approaching girl, his eyes trying to send messages to his brain about what was happening, but the message was distorted and tainted, her figure seeming to sway everywhere in his line of sight. "Eh...ehh...." The sirens were closing in faster and faster, and it seemed that the crowd was parting. Damn this spinning to hell.... Im gonna be sick.... It seemed a small cool sweat had worked itself up onto his face as he apparently tried to focus upon the object she was presenting to him, though he surely took the kind gesture as a hostile act, unable to really comprehend the situation at hand. His eyes flashed dangerously as he brought up his arm and slammed hers away, a blow that could potentially have broken hers into 3, perhaps 4 places, yet he didnt have the faintest clue what he was doing. The only thing this young boy knew was that he wanted to get away, he never did like the cops anyway. As such, he growled and stepped away from her, stumbling as he turned to run, unable to go in a straight line, the world continually changing at his point of view. He couldnt take it anymore. Without a moment's hesitation, he felt like he was floating on air, free falling but a short distance with a small run in tune, colapsing to the hard cement with a thud and sliding to a halt.
