[The Girl Who Hides]

Lida hummed the song all the way home. That damn sad song was stuck in her head. It was annoying.
When the horizon darkens most
We all need to believe there is hope
Is an angel watching closely over me?

That's what repeated over and over in her head. She was scared to death of men, yet she desperatly wanted to feel what love was, even if it meant getting hurt like Yuko did. Oh, but, the scared-to-death-of-life sister began to believe that she was asexual.
No sexual activity. Not interested in it at all. Lida sighed. Maybe she should just stick to her art. She began to sing the song softly, the verse stuck in her head.
Maybe the hole in my own soul won't be filled.. ever.

Yuko sighed. Everybody was just so depressed lately. Everything was messed up, the Yoshikawa family was no longer sheltered. Her sisters were all heartbroken about something. The elder sister wanted to jsut take everything away, all the pain, and just hold her sister close and never see them hurt, but she could never do that.

Ai would do the same thing, day after day, come home, go to her room, drop her books on the floor, fall on her bed. Pass out. Today though, she threw her books at the wall after entering her house, and kicked her shoes off, and hitting Mari who was scurrying off to her room holding her stomach. The fashion diva looke dup, saw the rage in Ai's eyes, and continued in her scurrying.
Ai.Was.Pissed.
The lazy bum looked all around for her sister Moki, even yelled for her. The girl was determined to find out what was wrong with her older sister. Dark eyes flashed in fury when Ai caught sight of Mari again.
"Mari-onee have you seen Moki-onee?!"
"No, but Moki'd better hurry with my tampons! The pads are sticky and ew and they stiiink."
"I don't care about what happens about your damn peroid, Mari! Kami, think of somebody other than yourself for once!"
"....AiAi-nee.." Mari didn't give much of a reply but the squeak and the name before running to her room, crying.
Ai huffed, and stomped to her room, the door slamming loudly.
Oops..

Yuko sighed. "Damn.. Ai's pissed.."

[Yoshikawa Moki]

Rikai heard the door slam and almost dropped her kanji brush on her paper. She huffed, sticking it back in it's ink well, and hurried over to the living room door, past the medical book reading Natsumi.

Natsumi sighed, pushing her glasses back onto the bridge of her nose with her index finger "No Ai-chan...Moki-chan isn't here yet...She hasn't come back from the, er, tampon run yet...Just calm down..."

Rikai pulled her kimono down and glared at Ai
"Please...You shouldn't make so much noise, people are trying to concentrate, and Moki-chan is only having boy troubles...She'll be fine soon."

Nozomi slammed open her door, bright green leaves sticking in her light brown hair. She had been photographing nature again in the tree outside her window...Of course she was no expert like Lida, but she liked to have her own collection "Oi, Ai! What's the matter?!...And you shouldn't pick on Mari-baka like that, you just make her even snobbier..."
Nozomi let out a cry as her cat knocked one of her potted plants on her, sprawling her out into the hall.
"Eesh..."

Natsumi marked her page in the book and stood, pushing her glasses up onto her head like someone would with sunglasses
"It's that popular guy Akira...He had something going on with Moki-chan and somehow she...Ruined it...But she'll be over him soon, I never liked him anyway...She's better off without him..."

Rikai nodded her agreement before kneeling back in front of the low sitting table, taking her brush out of the ink once more.

"Chin up, Bozu...Your leader is quite ready for battle..." The oldest sister smiled down upon the youngest, patting her nose lightly before sitting back in her chair.

Nozomi had finally gotten out of the fallen jungle and was brushing herself off when Natsumi went back into the living room
"Eh...I don't see why Moki cares about guys all of a sudden...She totally used to hate that guy but now...Meh..."
She sweeped the dirt and roots and leaves into her room for later cleaning "So...Wanna go to the arcade or something...That might lift your spirits..."

Hitomi was tired. Could you blame her? Weights in the morning, school all day, soccer practice after school, going out with friends...
She staggered on home, waving mutely as she wandered through the main door and into the living room. Collapsing onto the couch and Natsumi-nee's lap, face buried in her arms, she groaned.
She was so sore. And she had a party tonight.
"'nichiwa, 'ikai-nee, 'sumi-nee," she mumbled, voice muffled by her arm. She looked up at her eldest sister, weary. and hoping the girl wouldn't shove her onto the floor. Have some sympathy for your tired, aching little sister? ): PLEASE?

Ai mumbled a no and covered herself in blankets and pillows and fell asleep. With all the pain she saw Yuko and Moki go through, she came to tell herself she never wanted to marry anyone, or even fall in love.
She'd be happy if she never did.
Yuko surfaced and yawned. "What'd I miss?" She heard a wail from Mari's direction, and sighed. "Ehh.. Ai had another anger spaz.. I'll go talk to her.."
Lida entered the house and blinked. The air was full of anger, annoyance, upsetiness, as well as other calmer feelings.Her thoughts dispersed as she took the same emo look she always wore on her face. "Huh.. sorry I'm late.. I kinda got lost in thought."
