*shrugeths* I no cares...
As he slowly and finally began to tire from walking around, he yawned one last time before he went to the outrolled futon, stretching just enough for a few cracks to echo out into the emptiness. His eyes drooped wearily as he laid down, his eyes shifting ever so slightly, thinking if he should take it off or not. Well he knew he wouldnt be able to sleep otherwise. With a soft and gentle sigh to himself, he reached into his shirt, slowly lifting out a small necklace with a little pendant on its end that held two letters to signify his grandfather's name. ST. Shingen Takeda. Possibly one of the few who cared whether he was alive or dead. Then once that momento was removed, he flipped over onto his side and slowly drifted off into the endless night of dreams and reveries.

The blaring of an alarm pulled her from sleep prematurely. Kei grumbled from within a mass of comforters, reaching out an arm and slapping about on her bedside. The noise stopped, and for many moments, there was quiet in the room. And then, rustles. Groans. Rising from her bed, she slumped against the wall, hands absentmindedly tracing the photographs plastered about her. Her sisters, old friends, boys she had crushed on, remote relatives, all of them ended up there, preserved in quick snapshots. She shook her head, and pulled her coat tighter about the large rugby jersey that functioned as her nightclothes. Staggering off to go get ready, she blinked. Ah, she still had a guest, didn't she...? Was she compassionate enough to cook, or...? And what the hell had he meant last night? Pondering, she slipped back into her room, navigating the clutter, and knocking gently on the rice paper door. "Morning..."

*Oh snap.... Girls got skillz....*
He was fast asleep, his breaths coming in short soft sighs, he almost looking like a baby in a sense of the way that he was curled up. Upon the even of the paper rattle, his eyes seemed to twitch a bit ash is brows furrowed, nudging just a bit before he continued his restful harmony. "I thought... The pancakes... Were supposed... to be... cold.." Shifting just a bit, he stirred just to the point where he was conscience but he still remained in dreamworld.
**not much else you can do while asleep.... *shrug* **

[Damn straight!]
Kei hesitated for a moment. She should be getting ready, drowning out conscious thought with a warm shower, hunting for the uniform she had probably lost in the laundry, all that shit. But damned if she wasn't a curious girl. So, cautiously, she eased open the door, sneaking a glance inside. Asleep...? That was...disappointingly ordinary. He had been all cryptic last night, and now this...? And what? Pancakes? "Dork," she muttered, rolling her eyes in exasperation. Could he be any more of a nutjob? Turning, she gently pulled the door shut, turned to head off and get ready, and promptly stumbled over something on the floor, crashing through another set of rice paper walls, bringing the apparatus down, down, down. "FUCKSHITGODDAMNITSONOFABITCHWHYTHEFUCKAARRRRGHHHH." Clumsy Kei~

He had been dreaming peacefully and contently while she was up and about. As soon as he heard the crash, his eyes flashed open, blinking blankly as he listened to her swear mindlessly out of anger. Lifting himself from the floor, he grabbed up his pendant before heading into her room, his brow immediately quirking in curiousity as he stared down at her, seeing the mat basically leaning over her, a large hole bashed through it. "...." His weary state made him somewhat delerious to what he saw and he just stared, half awake. "Smooth move x-lax... He then stretched out wide with a carefully placed yawn. "I dont think they heard you in Scotland though... Heh..." He cackled lightly before he ruffled his hair feeblishly. Finishing with one more yawn, he waved her off as he moved over to lift up the sliding door. "Ill fix this up... You just get ready..." For now it'd just have to stay broken, but he could fix it.

Sitting amidst the broken wall, Kei felt frustration bubble in her chest. DAMN IT, this was not what she needed to start today with. Running a hand through her hair, she looked about her in distress, at splintered wood and paper torn to shreds. No...how the hell was she going to fix this in time...?! Mother would be home tonight, and Kei wouldn't have time to repair it in the afternoon...argh! Stupid clumsiness! About on the verge of a breakdown, she jumped at his voice, looking up at him. Irrationally, she wanted to pin all her frustration on him, and did for a moment there. But then he just had to be being all nice, and ruin her hate fest. Jerk. And why the hell did he call her 'x-lax'?! Still, he was raising the wall, and she rose, already sensing a migraine coming on. Uggghh. Not good. "Ano...I couldn't..." She bit her lip. Even despite her frustration, guilt was worse. She couldn't just put him to work like that in her own home. But today was the one day out of this year she couldn't be late to. Any other day, sure. Just...not now. So she nodded curtly and slipped away, grabbing her uniform and disappearing down the hall. Damn it, she'd have to bake this kid a cake or something. He was just too nice for his own good.

He just waved after her as though he didnt really care what she was doing or saying. "Go to school... Dont worry missy... This'll all be fixed by the time you get home... Just worry about what you need to beside this..." Yawning, he stretched once more, his eyes cringing shut in pleasure as his muscles stretched in relief. "Ahhhh... Alright..." And with those couple of words, he began going to work, his excellent perception skills flashing over the object to get the necessary information needed. "Hmmm... Oh this is no problem..." After a few actions, looking down at the broken wood splintered around on the floor. "Heh..."

She readied much faster than usual– Kei checked it off as nerves. After all, it was a whole new school, and...she frowned. She was still too nervous and fluttery. She usually coped with new schools quite well. But now her knees felt weak and she could barely breathe for all the butterflies. Unless...no. Ridiculous. She couldn't possibly...could she? Kei glowered as she rinsed her hair clean, shivering despite the warm water. Stupid brain with stupid ideas and... Slipping out of the shower (quite literally, she winced as she pulled herself to her feet via nearby toilet), Kei gazed at her reflection for a moment. Plain little Kei, mocking laughter filled her mind, and her glower returned. So homely, so easily ignored. That's why you're so loud, isn't it? Because you don't like people forgetting about you in favor of the others...it doesn't matter though. Your sisters are plenty loud enough without saying a word. You think they will notice you if you scream? That they will find you pretty if you smile like you really love everything? Oh Kei, Kei, Kei... She wanted to scream, break something, but instead, she dressed in silence, wet hair clinging to her face and neck, fingers fumbling as she hooked up the garters to her stockings. Slipping out as she adjusted her tie (and cursing the skirt to hell, because jesus christ, it was winter and she hated the damn thing), she padded silently to the kitchen. But ten minutes later (7:43, the clock alerted her), she had a small plate with steaming rice-balls in hand as she maneuvered through the apartment, sliding into her room. ...wow. That was impressive progress. Better than she could have made, and her hands were born to work with wood. "Um...hey. I, uh, made some rice-balls." She called out, after clearing her throat nervously. She could have died. What. The. Hell? Scuffing the floor with stockinged foot, she proffered the plate, biting her lip. "Um, sorry, they're kind of simple. I only had baby plums, so um...err, yeah."

He smirked softly as he mended the wood and made it seem arbitrarily new, his hands gliding over its surfaces with such precision and accuracy, finding the knicks and bumps here and there which he quickly smoothed into finesse perfection. Slipping the sliding door back up, he gently laid it upon its tracks, lifting his gaze towards the top before simply popping it back into place with a small almost graceful nudge. Takamatsu had always been one who dared to be perfect in his work, never wanting a single thing to be wrong. And so this door another piece of his crafts. As he finished, he gave it an approving nod, his attention shifting over to Kei as she entered the room again in her uniform. Heh. It had been a while since he had seen a girl in one of those. To him it was an odd experience due to his dropping out factor, but other than that, he really wouldn't have noticed. Although she somehow made the appearance stick with her giddyish attitude. Hehehe. A small smile formed at the thoughts in his head before he looked upon the treat. Now Taku was never one to take things from people, but it was mostly because of the idea that he was never offered anything. Upon seeing these treats, something sparked in his eyes that caused his smirk to widen just a bit. What could that possibly have been? "Why thank you miss Kei..." He spoke generously and appreciatively after having lifted one from its post and took a small nibble from it, being the conservative person he was as he slid the tatami door back and forth to make sure it worked like it should've.

The door...how had he managed to fix it so quickly? And so well...she had to admit, she was a little jealous. He was obviously good with wood, and she felt almost inferior. He had a strength she could only dream of, had wit, was gorgeous, and he was good with his hands? Lucky. Flicking her eyes from the door to him, she tilted her head, pigtailed hair falling into her face. She subconsciously fidgeted with her pigtailed hair, biting her lip as he accepted the riceball. A rather uncharacteristic flush crossed her face, before she turned away, setting the plate on a nearby table. "Thank you so much for this, I...I owe you one. Or two. Or twelve." Looking over, she smiled easily, brushing her bangs out of her eyes. "So, um, if you ever need anything, anything! Just ask, okay? I really can't thank you enough..."

He watched her carefully as he stopped messing with the door, his eyes seeming to narrow in bliss at her. "You don't have to worry Kei... I'm just happy to help... You owe me nothing in return..." With a continued smirk, his eyes glanced over her once again before he shrugged and stood fully once more. "Well that should basically do it then..." Finishing off his rice ball, he gave a slight hiccup before he covered his mouth carefully. "Mm excuse me..."

Kei only blinked, red dusting her cheeks for a moment. Saa...this was a pain. Brushing aside her confusion, her lips twisted into an amiable pout. "See, now that's the 'wrong' answer. I can't just expect you to do that out of the goodness of your heart! Stop being mean to my conscience, dammit!" Planting her hands on her hips, she fixed him with a mock glare (though the determination in her eyes was anything but). She blinked then, and glanced at her watch. Aw shit. She had to run. "Bummer. School calls. Um, you're free to bum around here if you like, I don't really mind." She was already on the move, grabbing her coat from the floor and slipping into it. Grabbing a bag dropped on her desk, she hunted through it, eyebrows knitted together in thought. "Again, thanks. I really do appreciate it."

**I shall do the timeskip this time so fufufufufufu**
"Well listen missy... I dont really expect anything in return... Im just that kind of person... Perfectionist straight to the end sadly... Hehehe... Im just to much of an organized person for my own good..." Shaking his head at her, he just began tuning her out as she got all pouty, the smirk unwavering as his eyes looked up in amusement. "But yea... You should head off then... Ill just lounge around here I suppose then... Bah... All in a day's work missy..." He then assumed a superhero pose as she headed out the door before snickering to himself. Now that she was gone, he blinked a few times before looking around the house and shaking his head at the mess. "Now this won't do..." And being the perfect guy he was, he reached into his pocket, grabbing a rubber band that he kept handy, slid it around his wrist before quickly pulling back his hair and wrapping it up before he went to work cleaning the entire house. Ugh. He was to gulable and nice for his own good. But he just couldnt stand dishevled places. And so she was off as was he.
Upon completing his work, he looked around as a small bead of sweat ran down the side of his face, he smiled happily. "Ahhh that's better..." Lifting his hand to check the watch upon his own wrist, he blinked to realize it was almost about time for school to get out. Heh. He had worked through the entire day. Now to leave and head off. Man that would probably piss her off. Hehehe. He snickered softly to himself at the thought as he reached up to pull the band out of his hair, quickly pocketing it again before he pulled open the door and headed out into the chilly world.
