**Wow.... so cruel... -nod nod-**
Taku seemed to flinch as Kei touched his shoulder, his entire body seeming to cringe and tense up in a strain. His hands quickly clenched his own hair in reaction as well, his grip devestating enough to loose flesh as it was to sand. His pupils instantaneously having dialated upon the contact, now returning to normal after recovering from the shock. As though on command, that same guy from before seemed to have watched the whole event, finally seeing a moment to make an even bigger 'man' of himself than he already was. This man who Taku had caught the name of being Keiji, made his way over and quickly grabbed Kei by the shoulder as well, pulling her away from Takamatsu in the process as a form of 'protection' and 'self sacrafice'. "Look here you little brat... Don't you dare try anything or you'll be facing me... Got it you little runt?" Keiji snickered darkly as a few of his cronies began a small chuckle of their own in the background.

"Yuko-onee! That was the guy who attacked that guuuy!" Lida squeaked, going to push 'Keiji' away from her younger sister. "Don't touch her!" Yuko puffed out her chest, glaring at them. A rare thing from the elder sister. "You, listen," She demanded, waving her finger at Keiji threateningly. "I do not appreciate you daring to touch my sister with me right.here." Yuko was protective of her younger sister when it came to men, and those who pull them away so sharply. "IF my sister wants you to protect her, she would have called out for protection, which could have been easily filled in by me or Lida here. so a word of advice: Back off unless you're needed." Lida looked at the Ai who seemed to be staring at the ceiling, or at least expirencing a sudden high feeling. She blinked, wondering if the sugar wore off THAT fast, before returning her attention to her sisters and the two guys. What a pain in the ass. First, an almost fight. Second, blood. Third... another almost fight. Lida suddenly felt dizzy and then she felt Ai helping her stand. Now that she let the thought settle she actually had seen, smelled, and barely touched blood, she became very nauseated. Violence was baaaad for Lida. Very bad.

The pressure seemed to be continually mounting upon his head, his eyes narrowing ever so slightly with each word he spoke. Taku couldn't stand being talked down to, and this man knew it. He had gone to school with him once upon a time, and was beginning to play on his 'weaknesses'. As soon as Keiji's hand clasped Kei's shoulder, Taku's mind snapped. His entire body fell still and calm, the dark intensity returning in his eyes as he slowly pushed himself up, his wet matted hair sticking to the top of his head in a rather odd looking way to show only one of his eyes. "....That.... Was the last mistake... You will ever make..." His voice was slow, calm, analyzing, that of a killer.

Kei was nervous, but it stemmed mostly from concern. Biting her lip as he tensed, she opened her mouth to speak. Her lips instead formed a silent 'o' as she was forcibly pulled to her feet and away, stumbling over her ridiculously long sleeves. Yuko stepped in, and Kei (despite herself), felt a bit annoyed. What was with everyone having to step in for her, decide what she wanted? Feeling a rush of gratitude to her sister, the gratitude was replaced with cold dread. For a moment, she was frozen in fear. She couldn't help it. Those eyes... Then she snapped back to reality and stepped forward. "Taku..." She took a moment t o regain her courage, try to stop the trembling in her hands and voice. A deep breath. "Taku, please...don't." She sidestepped her sister, shooting her a look that clearly told her to stay out of it. Flicking her gaze back to Takamatsu, her eyes softened, and she hesitantly made her way to his side. "Leave him alone...please. I...just don't hurt him." She managed, trying to formulate words amidst her racing heart and the chills racking her skin.

Yuko nodded before turning to her other sisters to see if she could help, afterward, of course, giving Kei a look that pretty much said 'Do what you need to, I know you can do it'. Ai yawned. "Yuko-onee.. Lida-onee is sick again.." She muttered, suddenly sad. Upset, as a usual 'empath' would be. "I'm fine Yuko-onee.." Lida muttered, shaking her head. "If you say so.."

Keiji just smirked in complete silence at what was happening before him, his eyes seeming to narrow in accordance with it as well. "Come on little man... What do you hope to do... You're nothing but a worthless whelp... And you can't do a damn thing about it... Hehehehe..." Taku's cool and calm gaze continued, nothing seeming to phase him any further than he already was. Upon Kei's words and actions, he blinked a few times, his head turning downwards ever so slightly before it lifted again towards Keiji. "Kei... Release me now..." His words were forceful as though they cut the air like a smooth knife through butter. Keiji seemed to falter somewhat at his words, having thought someone would've stopped him.

She hadn't known she had even grabbed him, before his words. She blinked at her trembling hands which had caught his sleeve, and she gripped tighter. He was different now, an entirely strange and thrilling creature that made her heart race until she feared it would drop from exhaustion. Gazing up at him, Kei felt her mind go wonderfully, horribly blank. She could do nothing. Nothing but stand here and beg and cry and be weak. "I can't do that." The words came before she engaged her brain, and her eyes watered, bitter, angry tears. "I can't let you do this! This isn't right! Please, just stop! You're a better person than this, I know that! Don't lower yourself to his level!" She clutched him desperately, trying to make him see reason. She didn't want to know what would happen if he caused a fight here, in her fathers house, under his over-protective eyes. Kei feared that her father would utterly destroy him, and take away the one friend she had ever known to befriend her for her, instead of her sisters. She was selfish that way.

Taku seemed to twitch a bit in his cheek, his gaze continuing to hold strong and true at Keiji who slowly began to back up, Taku's voice once again ringing out with that seethingly low and piercing tone. "Watch your back little Keiji... Im coming for you..." His last words were completely penetrating, striking a cold nerve through the air as a smirk formed over his features. The entire fight had instantly been turned around, his eyes and the way he presented himself upon being pressured as he was, usually ended up taking these results on people. Once Keiji had left with his group, he closed his eyes and sighed softly as the smirk over his face seemed to fade from existence, his entire tense personality vanishing before their eyes as the regular one returned. It was as though he had two completely different personalities. "Hmmm.... Now let us see here..." His head tilted somewhat as he scratched the side of his face, blinking down at Kei with a more friendly smirk now. "Oh hey there miss Kei..."

The fight was over, sudden and abrupt. Kei stared up at him, hands shaking as they fisted in the sleeve of his kimono, eyes widened fearfully. He seemed to undergo a transformation, and she was silent. Then he looked down at her, and she launched herself at him, embracing him tightly. Angry tears leaked out of her eyes, shut tight against the world as she clutched at him. Furious with him and furious with herself. "Why did you have to do that?! You idiot! You had me worried sick! Why, you bastard, WHY?!"

He gasped softly as she completely almost knocked him over, he stumbling back a bit in accordance to her sudden tackle. Blinking a few times at her words, he just smirked softly and snickered lightly as one hand came up and embraced her, the other resting atop her head and stroking her gently. "Hey... Shhhh... Its ok missy... I dont see what the big deal is... It's not like anyone got hurt..." Such a stupid reply. But of course he had his moments of stupidity.

She wanted to hate him. At least if she hated him, she wouldn't worry so much, wouldn't feel like everything was shattering when he got angry, changed like that. But she couldn't, because he made her feel alive when everything else was monochrome and dead in her world. Where there was suffocation and shadows, he brought in colours and sounds and a whole world she had never known existed. "No," she murmured, voice muffled. "It's not okay." She didn't say anything for several moments, craving his embrace. The sensation was foreign, and she wanted to lose herself, hide away forever. But she pulled away, looking up at him, horribly upset, and upset with herself for being upset. A vicious cycle indeed. "What if you had actually hurt him? My father would have murdered you! How can you stand being so reckless...?! What if you had gotten hurt?!" Staring him down, she turned away, angrily wiping her eyes. "Idiot boy." She muttered petulantly, rage simmering as she folded her arms. Her knuckles went white as she clutched at them, trying to control her temper, bare feet scuffing the ground. Jerk.

~And back upstairs...~
Punching bag? Explosives? Oh dear, this isn't looking good...
Akira was beginning to wonder why things like this happened to him so often. Was he a terrible person? He didn't think so. In fact, he considered himself much better than the average rabble. And yet, he was always in trouble of some sort. Why did bad things happen to good people?
At any rate, worried that if he didn't do something soon he'd end up sore for the next week, Akira went on trying to talk himself out of the situation. "Come now Miss Moki," he began, "there's no need to be so upset. I truly am sorry for an inconvenience I've caused. And really, anger doesn't suit a girl of such beauty. I'm sure you're even prettier when you're happy..." suddenly he trailed off, and forget that he was trying to be nice. "Actually, come to think of it, I don't think I've ever seen you happy..." he said, thinking back.
Suddenly he realized what he was saying, and changed the topic quickly. "Er, I mean," he said, "I'm sure that's just because I haven't spent enough time with you. Er... anyways, surely there's some way I can make this up to you, isn't there?"
Ehh... I don't think this is going well... Why do these things happen to me?

(Wewt! First post on my new computer >D ((May contain strange symbols =D)))
Moki turned a soft pink when Akira began to comment on her looks. Her ears pricked when Akira said he had never seen her happy. Anger was clouded by sadness in her eyes. "I haven't been happy for what seems like forever..." Her eyes trailed to the floor, not wanting to meet Akira's "Just go..." and she walked over to the open door to the balcony. She stepped out into the snow, not minding the cold at all, and keeping her back to him.
For what seemed like an hour, Moki didn't look back at Akira. Thinking that he had left, she let the tears run free as she stared at the falled snow by her feet. She sighed, remembering simple days at school with Kei or even days at the arcade...Life seemed so simple back then...

Yuko looked back at Kei, looking bitter for only a split-second before smiling. Hearing Kri she was about to ensure her that she wouldn't let Daddy do harm to Taku but then.. she decided to just let it be. Ai and Lida limped up teh stared together, Ai on the verge of tears and needing to get away and Lida.. just needing to get away from the scent of blood nad get back to her paints. "Bluuue, Yuuukooo.. Whitey's taking me upstairs," she muttered, thinking that they both had blocked everything else out. "We'll check on Orangey later.." Yuko gave a short nod. "Hm.. don't anger her anymore htan she already is.." but otherwise walked off to 'socialize'. (I told you Lida'd do it.. She gave her yougner sib's the colour nicknames.)

Just go? Seriously? Akira was almost relieved for a moment, until he realized how sad she suddenly seemed. Dammit, he thought, I really am an idiot. For the next several minutes both were silent. It seemed like an eternity. And as he leaned against the door, watching her cry, he couldn't shake the feeling that, in the end, he really was the one to blame, in one way or another.
After a while, he finally got up the courage to speak. "Listen Moki," he began, "it won't do for us both to sit up here and miss the party. Why don't you get dressed, and we'll head back downstairs. Afterall..." Now he was smiling, trying his best to cheer her up, "Your sister Kei has decided to come, as it were. You shouldn't go without welcoming her. What do you say?"
